Just Energy is a retail electric provider (a retail power marketer in EIA's classification) that reports to the U.S. Energy Information Administration under utility number 9949. In 2024 it served 407,723 bundled residential customers in Texas (its largest state of 3), and its average realised residential price was 15.15 cents per kWh: $907 million of residential revenue divided by 5.98 million MWh of residential sales.

Across the other sectors, Just Energy's 2024 average prices were 14.43 cents for commercial customers (20,249 accounts).
